Trail Riding Holidays in Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales
The Eden Valley Trail Riding Centre specialises in providing high quality trail riding holidays in the Eden Valley and Yorkshire Dales along the Pennine Bridleway and Eden Valley Loops. Our aim is to provide fun, relaxed and memorable riding holidays and share the wonderful amount of riding we have in the Eden Valley. We spend time to understand what our customers want from their holiday and tailor the pace and style of the holiday to suit the different wishes of each rider, many of our customers return each year because we always try our best to make it special. All our rides and run and organised by us and led by a mature and confident BHS qualified Ride Leaders.
Our centre at Kirkby Stephen has been designed to cater specifically for horse riding holidays and offers a great choice of trail riding options. We have a fabulous team of forward going yet sensible horses who are extremely sure footed and full of character and we welcome you to help care for them during your stay and share their wonderful life during your holiday.
Pennine Bridleway Trail Ride
Settle to Kirkby Stephen - 60 Miles in 4 Days
The Pennine Bridleway is England's latest national trail built specifically for horse and riders. The route follows a mix of green lanes, ancient packhorse routes as well as newly constructed bridleways and takes in some of the best scenery in the North of England. Non riding partners are welcome who can walk or cycle the route.
Guided trail ride using our horses. Small groups.
Overnight stops at Austwick, Horten-in-Ribblesdale and Garsdale

The Eden Valley Weekend Trail Ride
Saturday & Sunday
Enjoy an exhilerating weekend trail ride with stunning scenery in the Eden Valley. Two full days of riding covering around 30 miles taking in some of tht best bridleways in the area. This ride is suitable for intermediate to experienced rides keen to ride a variety of paces over open country. The style of this ride has been described by previous customers as like "hunting without jumps" . Luxury accommodation in a country Inn.
