Trail Riding Holidays in Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales
The Eden Valley Trail Riding Centre specialises in providing high quality trail riding holidays in the Eden Valley and Yorkshire Dales along the Pennine Bridleway and Eden Valley Loops. Our aim is to provide fun, relaxed and memorable riding holidays and share the wonderful amount of riding we have in the Eden Valley. We spend time to understand what our customers want from their holiday and tailor the pace and style of the holiday to suit the different wishes of each rider, many of our customers return each year because we always try our best to make it special. All our rides and run and organised by us and led by a mature and confident BHS qualified Ride Leaders.
Our centre at Kirkby Stephen has been designed to cater specifically for horse riding holidays and offers a great choice of trail riding options. We have a fabulous team of forward going yet sensible horses who are extremely sure footed and full of character and we welcome you to help care for them during your stay and share their wonderful life during your holiday.
Pennine Bridleway Trail Ride
5 Day Trail Ride
The Pennine Bridleway is England's latest national trail built specifically for horse and riders. The route follows a mix of green lanes, ancient packhorse routes as well as newly constructed bridleways and takes in some of the best scenery in the North of England. Non riding partners are welcome who can walk or cycle the route.

The beautiful Eden Valley is quietly tucked into a corner of Cumbria on the border of the Yorkshire Dales and offers some of the finest bridleways in the country. This popular ride includes a fabulous bridleway through the Smardale Valley and offers wonderful views across the Lake District fells.

Our weekend Eden Valley Trail Ride is our very popular 2 day mini version of our weeklong Eden Valley Express Trail Ride. This ride is aimed at experienced riders looking for a high quality weekend riding break and if you are keen to extend your break there is the option to book extra riding on Friday or Monday.
Mallerstang Valley Trail Ride

This two day trail ride follows the Pennine Bridleway and the historic Lady Anne Trail as it crosses from Cumbria to the Yorkshire Dales through the stunning scenery of the Mallerstang Valley, a trail ride not to be missed !
