Bring Your Horse On Holiday to the Eden Valley Trail Riding Centre
The Eden Valley Trail Riding Centre is a purpose built trail riding centre offering Trail Riding and Horse Holidays in Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales.
Our Facilities
Grazing - water fed paddocks with post and rail fencing.
Stables - 12 x 12ft looseboxes ( fitted with rubber matting ) & tack / feed room.
Outdoor Arena
Box Parking- we have ample parking for boxes or trailers and the access from the road is excellent being an unfenced level track with a large unloading / turning circle.
DIY, Part or Full Livery Services availabe during your stay
Guiding Service
If you prefer to forget about the map you can book a guide to lead the way and show you routes you may not otherwise have discovered. You can book a guide for all or part of your stay. This is a popular option for full day rides and longer distance routes. We are all BHS quaified Ride Leaders who also ride our trails on a daily basis. Guiding is subject to availability and we always advise booking as much in advance as possible.
The cost for a guide + horse is £15 per hour or £60 per day.
Horse Hire
Our Horse Holidays are unique in that we are able to hire one of our horses during your stay for self guided rides. Basically, we provide a horse for you and you are able to ride with your friends and their horses. For your first ride one of our staff accompanies you on one of our horses. The hire charge therefore includes the hire of the horse and a guide. Further days hire may be arranged on a self guided basis . Our horses are used for our trekking and trail riding business and offer a forward yet steady ride and are very well suited to the terrain. Please telephone Alison to find out more about horse hire. The cost for the hire of one of our horses is £50 per half day or £75 full day.
