Great Choice of Daily Riding Routes

Being a specialist trail riding centre we have plenty of routes and offer you as much advice as you need to plan your days adventures. We have short rides as well as longer rides as well as rides which include a good pub ( very popular ! ) We are an idead choice for pleasure riders looking to ride a couple of hours a day as well as endurance riders keen to get their horse fit. Within minuets you can join the Pennine Bridleway and head south towards the Yorkshire Dales over what is regarded as the most dramtic and scenic sections of the brodleway. Or you can head north through Ravenstonedale and join loop 5 of the Eden Valley loops.

Accommodation Choices - Self Catering or B&B

You can choose to stay on site with your horse in one of our luxury self catering cottages or stay locally in a B&B. Centre bae offer sed horse holidays have certain advantages over trail type holidays. You can vary the amount of riding you do each day to suit you and your horse and you can include as much non horsey activities as you wish. This type of holiday is particularly suitable when you have non riding partners in your group or if you are new to horse holidays as we can provide you with as much help as you need during your stay.

Luxury Onsite Self Catering Accommodation at the Eden Valley Trail Riding Centre

You can rest assure that your Horse Holiday will be a well deserved break when you see the accommodation awaiting you. Our three luxury self catering properties have been designed with maximum comfort in mind with stylish interiors, power showers and crisp white linen. Carefully converted to retain their original architectural features each property has been individually styled offering a blend of rustic charm in a contemporary setting with exposed trusses and wood burning stoves for cosy nights after a long days riding on the fells. There is shared garden and courtyard with stunning views across the valley, perfect for evening drinks. Nearby are several excellent Inns, one of which is within walking distance ( The Fat Lamb) which offers a mid week meal discount for our residents. The cottages comprise:

Stoneyard - Sleeps up to 4 in one double bedroom and a double soafebed

Stoneheights - Sleeps up to 3 in one double bedroom and single bed in lounge

Stoneview - Sleeps up to 10 in 3 ensuite bedrooms + sofabed

B&B Horse Holidays

You can also choose to stay in a nearby B&B and keep your horse with us. If you prefer to leave the arrangements to us we offer a B&B Horse Holiday package or you can book your own B&B and your livery with us yourself.

Livery Facilities

Our centre has purpose built facilities for horses on holiday. Our yard is run on a professional basis and offers you and your horse everything you need to make the most of your special time together. We maintain a clean, safe and easy to work environment and offer as much help as you need throughout your stay. Our facilities include:

Detailed route maps
5 looseboxes ( 12ft x 12ft ) fitted with rubber matting.
Grazing paddocks with post and rail fencing
Secure tack & feed storage with saddle racks
Hay included and bedding provided on arrival. Feed can be supplied. .
All weather outdoor arena
Wheelbarrows, mucking out tools, water buckets.
Access to vet and farrier services.
Guiding service available
Horse for Hire
Parking - we have ample parking for boxes or trailers and the access from the road is excellent being an unfenced level track with a large unloading / turning circle.

Horse Holiday Prices 2012

Horse holidays are available from Easter to the end of October. We can accommodate groups of up to 5 horses at time. We offer a midweek 4 night package starting on a Monday and departing on a Friday.

Self Catering Horse Holiday Prices

The price below includes: self catering accommodation and livery for your horse which includes: grazing, stable, hay during your stay, route maps, light bed on arrival, use of arena, yard tools, use of secure tack room & parking.

Local Bed and Breakfast Horse Holidays

4 Night B&B Horse Holiday Package - £240 per person. This price includes 4 night bed and breakfast in a local B&B and 4 nights horse livery for your horse at our centre. Your price includes all the same livery facilites a slisted ablove as well as an optional early morning or late evening hay or feed service provided by us. ( You provide the feed )

Availability & How to Book

To check availability for all our Horse Holiday options please telephone or email Alison with details of the number of persons and horses, preferred dates and accommodation choice. All horses must be fully insured and up to date with vaccinations and worrming when they arrive.
